I recently learned from Alfred Angelo that just as there are birthstones to celebrate the month in which you were born, there are also wedding stones to celebrate, well, the month in which you tied the knot! (Perfect gift by the way for any husband wanting to wow his wife this Valentine's Day with something thoughtful and special!).

It makes me wonder if women will choose particular months to get married in. Hmmm could diamonds or pearls sway you?

Here's a list of the months and their coordinating stones:
January - Garnet
February - Sapphire
March - Emerald
April - Aquamarine
May - Peridot
June - Amethyst
July - Opal
August - Citrine
September - Pearl
October - Blue Topaz
November - Ruby

Bridesmaid Dresses - Jim Hjelm

I just absolutely love the fabrication of this line. It's something very different. With the right hair styles and accessories, you can make the gowns Vogue-esque or Bohemian Chic. These dresses are definitely very romantic and dramatic, so if you're going for the wedding drenched in candlelight and flowers, these are a great choice!
I like to think of bridesmaid dresses as "costumes". So, if your wedding were a show, story, or a movie...what would the characters be wearing? Being a dance choreographer and designing has made me realize how important it is to create visualizations...one way is through what everyone is wearing!

Bridesmaid Dresses - Impression Bridal

Let's talk "stunning"! That's just what Impression Bridal has in bridesmaid gowns. If you are having a lavish and elegant wedding full of style, you want to check out this line. These gowns are luxurious! There are ball gowns, drop waists, you name it. The colors are amazing and this is the perfect line to use if you want your bridesmaids in one color and different styles. With all of the rouching and design, I believe there is something that is flattering for each one of your girls!

Bridesmaid Dresses - Eden Maids

I love Eden Maids selection of shorter dresses. They do a great job with creating dresses with duel colors whether it be through a belt, a bow, trimming, etc. They also give different skirting options from bubble skirts to ruffle swing skirts.
I'm in love with their turquoise/white combo for a summer wedding!

Bridesmaid Dresses - Mia Solano

Red still remains a popular color for romantic weddings. Some of the hottest red dresses I found were part of Mia Solano's line like the following where the short dress gathers above the knee with a bow and the gown has a black band around the waist. Very chic!
I love the following style. It highlights what I call "peek-a-boo ruffles". The dresses have a contrasting fabric flowing out from underneath. The color of the ruffle matches that of the band around the waist.
The next two gowns are rouched and gathered in a manner that would compliment most bridesmaids.
Mia Solano uses some great shades of color!

Bridesmaid Dresses - Alyce

What I'm about to say is quite odd, but really, check out the bust lines on these dresses! They're pretty unique! Not something you see every day on bridesmaid dresses. I love the belts bows and sashes on the gowns in the line 312. The pastel colors are cute too especially for spring.
312 by Alyce
The Alyce line itself has some really beautiful gowns that flair out in to trumpet bottoms. Again, the bustlines are different. One of my favorites is the black and white striped gown!
This line has a wide range of dresses going from casual to elegant.

Bridesmaid Dresses by Jenny Yoo

Jenny Yoo gets an 'A' for being innovative. Not only has she really rocked out the one shoulder look as you will see at the latter part of the article, but she has made it very easy for you to style your bridesmaids differently by creating a convertible sash. In the Eastern Shantung designs, you will see that the sash is removable and it can be tied in to a bow in the front, in the back, around the top, or wherever you want. This is great for the bride looking to make each of her girls stand out, but by sticking with one dress of one length and style. At the same time, you can always switch up your bridesmaids in two separate colors and have them swap their sashes so that you have let's say pink on green and green on pink. Smart, right?

Charmeuse and more...

Although she works with many colors, Jenny Yoo's best looks are in jewel tone colors.
