pretty woMAN

She is so very much America's FEMININE Sweetheart, that some of Julia Robert's red carpet fashion choices of donning suits over the years, have always become conversation pieces. She has a way of bringing glamour and sophistication to an androgynous outfit, and given the fact that she has liked to step out of the box with her fashion picks, she has qualified as the face of Givenchy! That's nice to add to a resume!
As seen in US Weekly Magazine - Givenchy Ad
Julia has always embraced such a sense of power - no matter what she was wearing. Dressing her in a suit though shows that she CAN stand amongst all the men she works alongside of, and she can do it famously (no pun intended). With the suit-look becoming her staple fashion statement, the
Black Givenchy Jumpsuit that she wore to this year's SAG Awards, stated nothing less than the fact that she embodies true elegance and stardom!
Not only can you take a look back at some of Julia's moments of suit glam, but I have compiled a list of black jumpsuits for you, including the Givenchy, priced from only $60 up!

The actual Givenchy Jumpsuit is ON SALE now!

Now In Color!

Trends have been a'plenty for the guys in the wedding over the past few years. First we saw a transition from tuxedos to suits. Comfort began to triumph as vests started to become as rare as the once popular cumberbun. Shirts and ties didn't necessarily have to match the bridesmaids colors anymore, and in some cases, mix-matching hues was the way to go. We then saw the expression of personality through colorful, fun, and themed socks that took a priority on the photographer's "pics to shoot" list right next to the superhero undershirts. Later on, rustic and vintage themed weddings brought about suspenders, newsboy caps, bow ties, and patterns such as plaids. Now, wedding apparel for men that was once strictly a black tuxedo that turned in to a more comfortable black, navy, gray, or tan suit, is being altered again! The tuxedo is back, but now it's in COLOR! Groomsmen are now wearing tuxedos and suits in varieties of blues, purples, greens, and this year's color - Marsala. Male celebrities have been showing up on the Red Carpet the past few years breaking barriers in their non-traditional colorful garb. I have a feeling colors will be showing up more and more in the upcoming year.

2015 Color of the Year by Pantone - MARSALA

As we leave behind 2014, we say 'goodbye' to Radiant Orchid and 'hello' to Marsala which has been named "2015's Color of the Year" by Pantone. Marsala, like the wine, is on the lines of a burgundy hue. Coming out of the holiday season and moving towards Valentine's Day, this color is in the right place at the right time. While it's a pretty winter color though, you might not have the easiest time envisioning it for, let's say, spring and summer weddings. I want to tell you that it CAN in fact work nicely by playing it up with other colors. It pairs nicely with gold for an elegant feel and it can be utterly romantic when paired with pinks (especially light pink and peach).
