Nothing Short of Schwartz

If you are a 'Vanderpump Rules' fan like myself, then you have been eager and counting down the days to watch our "Bubbas" get married, and we were finally able to see the August event take place last night on Bravo. Just when we thought Tom Schwartz wasn't going to ever commit to Katie Maloney when he handed her a "ring on a string" in a previous season, he blew us away with a surprise proposal that led them to say "I Do" in a captivating ceremony in the woods officiated by none other than Lisa Vanderpump. The style and elegance of this wedding is pretty much what every girl dreams of...especially nowadays when it is the norm to have an outdoor wedding trimmed with tons of twinkly lights against the evening sky. It's pure romance which I bet is going to lead to many more engagements throughout that cast - and their fans. The Schwartz's set the bar with this one!
The Twenty Mile House and the land which it is on in Northern California, was the perfect venue and backdrop for this much anticipated wedding. It even housed the bridal party and family in its cabins on the site which made for one of the comfiest and quirkiest Rehearsal Dinners as they had "Taco Tuesday" in a very relaxed atmosphere - "glamping" if you will.

On the big day, Katie stunned in a long-sleeved lace Zohair Murad Wedding Gown which she purchased from none other than Kleinfeld. The gown was sophisticated yet sexy with its sheer designs to give it somewhat of an art deco flair. Her hair was in an up-do polished off with a gorgeous embellished headband and long veil. Katie's earrings were made by Dayna R. Schroeder and Georgi Jules Jewelry. The bridesmaids looked amazing in white Vera Wang Gowns from David's Bridal. They boasted halter tops, a slit up the leg, and were adorned with metallic silver belts.

As if we weren't seeing green already, Tom appeared looking his usual GQ model-self, in a custom green tuxedo. When I learned of Tom having a green tuxedo designed and the groomsmen wearing black, I had visions of the Wicked Witch of the West. It didn't sit well with me. It felt very foresty. I'm sure that's not a word, but the colors made me smell pine...and...well, anyway, I had no idea how he was going to pull that off. To my surprise, the hunter green tuxedo trimmed in black designed by George Clinton was perfection and will surely open up new doors in the wedding world for grooms! Tom topped off his look with a black bow tie. The groomsmen looked ravishing per usual in black suits and bow ties. Something special that I noticed was that in lieu of floral corsages, all the men (and Ariana who was also a groomsman) appeared to don brooches - like those in Katie's bouquet. The bridesmaids' bouquets rounded out the look with Ivory Roses and Silver Brunia Balls.
The photographer, Gina Ryan, captured amazing photos of this magical affair. Wanting to make sure she receives the proper recognition, I want to make the audience of this article aware that the photos seen on this blog were all taken from the IG accounts of the cast.

Congratulations on your marriage!!! Pumped to see who's next!!!

*While some photos may be the work of Gina Ryan, the others were taken and/or posted by Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, Scheena Shay, Stassi Schroeder, Vanderpump Rules, and Bravo.
