Oh how I wish I could go back in time to prom and take today's fashion with me. Well, not totally because I did design my own orange (yes orange) prom dress for Senior Prom and my mother saved up for it making it one of my most special memories and greatest gifts. BUT, perhaps if I had the choice of gowns that are out nowadays, I may not have had a dress made. Hmmm...at the same time, now that I am walking down memory lane, I do recall that my Junior Prom dress did have some of the stomach cut out, and cut-outs are very much in style today. However, the material that dress was made of could probably scrape barnacles off a rusty ship. Nothing like todays threads.
While some of the deigns are a little on the sexier side being sheer, or two-piece with a crop top, they are very classy and elegant. I feel as though a lot of choices that are out there are something you would dream of wearing on the red carpet while being escorted by Ryan Gosling and attending the Oscar's after parties all starry-eyed and...well, enough dreaming for me, but dreams are about to come true for prom girls! All of these fashions weather floral or sequined or edgy or boho are priced very reasonably under $250 except for one Terani Couture because I love Terani Couture and I had to add it. I would've added more, but wanted to help be budget-friendly. Girl code, ya know?
Prom - I can't even!!! A) I can't even take today's styles - they are so amazing and B) I can't even go because I'm too old!!! LOL. I suppose that a good amount of these dresses would be great to wear to a Wedding, Party, or Gala though. Which is your fave?
